THE TEAM:
Bill Ponstein: Owner/ Tire Specialist/ Spotter Bill is an integral part of Ponstein Racing as not only does he provide the financial resourses he is also the one who sets, and maintains the tires for the team 00. It has been his foresight, and planning that have gotten the team to the level it has achieved. Bill is the president of Georgetown Construction in Hudsonville MI, he has used what he has learned through years of intensely hard work and dedication to propel all he is involved with, including team 00. The race team certainly would not be around without Bill, and his dedication.
Herb Wouthuis: Crew Chief Herb is the brains behind the way the #00 drives to the front week-in, and week-out. Herb has dedicated a large portion of his life into racing, and has the knowledge and insight into the way that a race car works to achieve maximum performance from both car, and crew. He is the proprietor of a racing parts store in Hudsonville, MI named Performance Racing Components (PRC for short) and Herb is well known throughout west Michigan for his understanding of race cars.
Brian Anderson: Car Chief/Transporter Driver If Herb is the brains Brian is the brawn behing the #00. Definately the hardest working member of Ponstein Racing's team 00 without Brian the team would never make it to the track. Brian is the one that has made the sacrifices to work on the car to the wee hours of the night. Brian is a perfectionist when it comes to making sure every nut, or bolt is tight, and every I is dotted, and every t crossed. When it's Brians job you can be sure it will get done right.
John VandenBroek: Maintenence John is a brand new addition to the team this year, and his job is to be our shepherd. By saying that we mean that John is the one that keeps everthing in line, that makes sure the cars are always presentable. John is in charge of the Transporter, and making sure that he knows where everything is inside and outside of the truck. Without somone like John, we would lose two times as much stuff as we do now, and thats already alot! John and his daughter Annie work hard in the shop to clean the cars after each and every race, and they do a fine job.

Thank you for your support, and the amount that you sacrifice, I love you, and you guys are the best. Racing would not be possible without the hard work and extreme effort these people give. Both team and family have earned my admiration and respect, thank you for all you do.
